So *yaaaay*. I also passed "History of psychology"! Yaay, Yaaay; YaaaY! I so thought that I would have to retake it in summer, but noooo *does a little dance*

And therefore... well not only because of that, but anyway:

I finally found at least 3 of the 4 Songs that were featured on Grey's Anatomy last sunday. Soo, enjoy:

Chris Martin & Michael Stipe - In the Sun <- Well it's not the version that was in the episode, this is a live version, but I couldn't find another one.

Ursula 1000 - Kaboom

KT Tunstall - Miniature Disasters

Okay just a quick note/question:

does anyone have the songs from last night's Grey's Anatomy? I only found the one from KT Tunstall :(

I'm a nice person, I really am, but today I feel like "there's a land called passive aggresiva and yes I'm their queen!"

Just got back from a meeting with my workgroup from uni which was absolutely totally and obviously useless and a total waste of time. That's no news at all, normally. But the presentation is on thursday, there are two exams before that and we have nothing... well they have nothing. I got up earlier than early to finish my part and even ran to uni. So there I was... and nobody way there. After 20 minutes they finally showed up, but of course didn't even begin with their parts. Not only did I go there for nothing, no they also felt like they should discuss who's doing the introduction and the conclusion for over an hour. I'm soo glad that I know the people in my workgroups next semster. How do they think they will make it through this year like this? I mean, I'm not always on time, I'm starting my papers an hour before I have to hand them in, but when it comes to teamwork I think it's just rude. There are people who are trying to get at least a kinda good result.
Especially that one girl is like stupidity in action. She's always late, always. Even when we had this interview with a psychologist, she was like 30 minutes late because her alarmclock didn't work. How stupid is that? And now with our latest exam, she didn't pay attention and thought that the first 16 question don't have to be answered... well it was only the first 6 question, but honey never mind ;)

Okaaay, I'm shutting up now. I have to study anyway and it's coffee time! ;)

Ohh, but one thing. Got to watch Grey's Anatomy this morning and whoaaa...

Parking Lot = Odyssee [07 Jan 2006|02:13pm]
[ mood | contemplative ]
[ music | Emiliana Torrini - Serenade ]

I still can't believe it, I spent over an hour in a traffic jam (no news at all) on a (yes, not kiddin') parking lot (yes a parking lot - and a incredibly small one too...).

Remind me to never a) go to that supermarket again and b)go grocery shopping on a saturday...
I will never ever complain about going to the Aldi by bike in NL again. Because basically (after today) it totally rocks. Never came to worship my bike that much before I moved there, because without it I would be like lost. Ohh wait I am lost, because the bike I bought there (for the big amount of 12€) got damaged after somebody drove into it (my fault though) and the one of my flatmate which I used then got stolen (surprise, surprise...). Maybe someday we'll see it again and say "Hey, that's my bike!" <- Reality Bites love!!

"This is all we need. A couple of smokes, a cup of coffee, and a little bit of conversation. You and me and five bucks!"

I really have to watch it again now, although I might miss my male best friend even more. That was kinda like our quote. *sniff*

Anyway, I'm procrastinating again, I really need to study. Exams start next week and I haven't even started my Paper on "Bipolar Disorder" yet which we're supposed to hand in next week as well *hides*. At least I figured out which direction I should go after graduating = traffic psychology, because it seems like those professionals are really needed (see above)...

But always end with a nice thing. Found this pic of Maura while procrastinating yesterday. Haven't seen it before so:

Maura says: Cheeese!  )

Dear Santa,

This year I've been busy!

In July I gave change to a homeless guy (19 points). In March I ruled Canada as a kind and benevolent dictator (700 points). In November I turned [info]jo47 in for running naked in the mall (3 points). In October I put money in [info]cathartic_prose's expired parking meter (14 points). Life or something like it... [11 Jun 2005|05:58pm]
[ mood | hopeful ]
[ music | Coldplay - X and Y ]

So, I'm back again... Well okay, I got back on Tuesday, but haven't had any time to write. Doing nothing is keeping me busy full time you see. *g* Anyway, I had a lot of fun down in Stuttgart and Frankfurt, especially seeing Kathrin (best friend) again and Simone, because that was the only reason I went, really. Although the cities were nice to visit too =). Been there before, but only for a day or two and then got back home, but this time I stayed for a week (in Stuttgart and then got to Frankfurt for 2 days on my way home) and since Kathrin had to work I also had some time to get around on my own a bit. And it's always pretty fascinating how different it is from home, although it's still germany, especially the accent. Sometimes I even don't get what they're saying to me. So I just sit there and nod, pretty stupid.

some places in Stuttgart:

Frankfurt's skyline:

We even went to the Zoo, haven't been there for ages and it was soo funny there. Animals are just soo cool. But unfortunatly Kathrin was a bit grumpy that day, since she suddenly had a day off from work, because there was nothing to do, always checked her cell and even went to the hospital to check if there really wasn't anything to do. That pissed me off a bit, since I came to visit her, made all the way down there, payed a lot of money for the stupid ticket, she got one free day (and worked the rest of the week) and all she could think about was work. I really love her, she's my best friend, but that really pissed me off.

So when I got back partying started again on wednesday: karaoke in the irish pub. That was fun. And, owww, we were so drunk again, not nice I know *g*. We didn't sing tho, at least not on the stage... Besides that we were pretty busy flirting again, but ,ouch, apparently I was too drunk even to give that one guy my "fake" cell number, so I got a message this morning "Hey what's up, I'm back in the city next weekend and I really want to see you again. Interested?" Took me even a few seconds to think about who he was... (I know it's pathetic...). So now I really dunno if I should see him again. He was nice, but a) def. not my type (besides, I'm on my way back into a relationship again) and b) is 29 (which means too old! (I'm into older guys, but not older than 24 or something)). So I probably wont meet him again. He was just too interested in me, and I don't feel like playing that game at the moment. Especially, because I also know that it's not really about friendship or something. Anyway that evening in the irish pub was a good one, missed that ;).

And today we're out again, although it wont be more than watching some DVD, having a drink or two then move to a bar chatting a bit. On a relaxing friends get-together little thing basis. I really cannot imagine how it will be when we all part at the end of july, yeah well I'm the one that moves out in july, the other's will be here like until september, but anyway I'm the one it'll affect first, so... And we keep promising each other that we'll keep contact and meet us sometime or another, but we all now that it never will be like it is now. Especially not this year, because most of my friends are off for a social year or travel and work to the US, New Zealand, the UK and Ireland. So we don't get to see each other for quite a while and when they come back I'll have lived in the Netherlands for a year then, we'll all be different then, influenced by what we've done the last year... So we will still be friends, but it will be different. And I better stop now, I might cry otherwise +gg+

I have to go anyway, get ready for tonight, showering and stuff...

Yay, I'm baaaaack =)

Just got home on saturday after spending 9 annoying hours in an old VW Bus in the heat... But anyway it was soooo fun, This was definetly one of the best trips I ever had. A bunch of crazy people in a lonesome house out in the dunes, do I have to continue?!

There was nothing to do and nowhere to go ecxept for doing nothing, wandering through the lonesome wilderness of the shore and of course parting (which never ended, really). Or to say it in Johann's words "Sooo... what are we supposed to do until we start with the 3 Ds (drinking, dancing, dating) again??!!" So it wasn't anything special at all to wake up somewhere in the dunes sometime around 3pm...

And except for being a good place for partying the landscape was soo beautiful, take a look:

Guess what we did :)

Can't get enough... )

She Moves In Misterious Ways [12 May 2005|11:25pm]
[ mood | crazy ]
[ music | Dexy's Midnight Runners - Come On Eileen ]

Can someone please tell me where this is leading to??

Suddenly everything starts, so now there's no way back I guess.
I went to Groningen yesterday and it was fun but also strange at the same time. Every time I go I just can't believe that it will be my new home soon. That I will walk those streets every day... But on the other hand I'm soo looking forward to go and see something new, grow again. At least I got that apartment I wanted and the girl that owns it was really nice. And she'll get my a cheap bike too *gg* (Since I can't take mine, because it will be stolen the day I bring it with me). My car would just be useless there, although I will have to go by train then every time I want to go home. But that even may be better in that case, because going by car especially in the night isn't exactly fun. Well, in the Netherlands it's okay but when you cross the border and drive on the german Autobahn it's just hell. People suddenly seem like they've lost their minds. All those Mercedes', BMWs and esp. Audis' show their evil side the second they passed the border. It's okay to go fast, since you're allowed to go as fast as you like most of the time, but it's not ok to bug all the other cars esp. if they're not as fast as you are and have no opportunity to go back to the right lane. My car wont go faster than 100mph and if there are like 10 Trucks on the right lane so I'm not able to go back there there's no reason to almost stick on my back just because I don't go 125mph. I wont be faster anyways... I wonder when they'll get that. Probably never.
But anyways it was also quite exhausting to speak dutch and english the whole day. Haven't done that in a while so I'm also excited how that will work out. I will have to speak dutch all the time, weird thought.
Luckily I had Menno with me who helped me a lot with that especially when we went to see the apartment. I was soo happy to see him again and I also hope that I will have the change to go and see him in Amsterdam again this summer.
I just don't know how to organize that yet. Since me and my friends thought that we also could go to Paris for a few days and there are still some dates we have to be present at school (like the announcement of the final results, graduation, prom... things like that :))And of course all the partying.
I'm soo locking forward to saturday. Our last grade party, that will be a lot of fun. Lots of nice people, fun and yummy drinks. I even already got myself a place to stay, since I wont be able to get home by car afterwards. Like on monday. Ohhh, what an afternoon. It was our last written exam and it took everybody like 30 Minutes to be totally drunk running through the school and the school yard. It was soo much fun, everybody was just happy, hugging each other and dancing around. You could really feel the freedom and the joy. And that's what it will be like until we get our results... Life is gooood =)
